Export Capabilities
DocsMint provides a dual-layer export system that handles both simple and complex document requirements.
For quick, simple exports, the platform handles everything in the browser using proven libraries. DOCX export uses the docx library for Microsoft Word compatibility. PNG and PDF exports use html2canvas and jsPDF for pixel-perfect rasterization and vector printing.
Complex styled documents — including branded PDFs, multi-page PNG portfolios, PowerPoint presentations, and EPUB ebooks — route through the server-side export pipeline. Puppeteer renders the styled HTML to PDF with precise control over page breaks, headers, and footers. The pptxgenjs library generates PowerPoint with full styling support. JSZip packages EPUB files with proper metadata and navigation.
The server-side pipeline also supports custom document styles: modern for clean contemporary layouts, tiled for magazine-style grids, strict for academic and legal documents, emoji for playful content, kawaii for cute and friendly designs, and bold for high-impact marketing materials.

Migration to Shared Platform
DocsMint is actively migrating from a legacy standalone deployment — Next.js 14 with Firebase hosting and an Express API on VPS — to the shared webs platform infrastructure. This migration brings PostgreSQL for persistent storage, MinIO for media assets, and shared authentication with other Croco.Team products.
